World Record holders

Mr Sam is a three times Guinness World Record holder. He received the first one in 2001 in Limassol Cyprus with the largest doner kebab weighing 1,503.66 kg and measuring 1.51 meters high, Then again in 2005 and lastly on New Year’s Eve in Paphos, Cyprus with a 4022 kg and 2 meters high chicken.

For the last effort Mr Sam used approximately 150kg of spices and 100kg of salt went into adding taste to the gyros. The structure to roast the gyros meat involved a 1.73-meter stainless steel skewer surrounded by 72 grills and powered by a 4-horsepower motor. A 2-ton natural gas tank provided the fuel for the effort.
